ROBIN Catalogue

Robe has been producing high quality, reliable lighting fixtures for many years and with the new
environmentally friendly ROBIN series, we are also trying to help make a difference for the future.
Robe's ROBIN Series of moving lights combine foresight with the very latest technology in the on-going quest for
innovation, the provision of imaginative solutions and the manufacture of good, reliable lighting products that has
always driven the company. The ROBIN (Robe Innovative Technology) brand INtroduces the very latest technological
developments and trends for its light sources, premium electronic components and optical systems, resulting in very
unique and INdividual products that are properly “power-saving” in multiple contexts.
Thanks to the INnovation, the ROBINS are just IN.
The ROBIN LEDWash series set new standards in the field of LED wash moving heads and is currently still the
bestselling luminaire in the history of the company.
Products using the Philips 35 Platinum lamp include the MMX Spot, MMX WashBeam and MMX Blade.
The MMX Spot is a fi xture taking advantage of new technology that gives a similar light output to most existing 1200 W
luminaires. The unit quickly became a workhorse for rental companies worldwide and is based on the all new ROBIN
advanced technology design parameters that inform the smaller-brighter-lighter (fi xture) philosophy. A key feature
of the MMX Spot is the 'Dual Graphics Wheel' - two fully controllable contra-rotating plates that can be positioned
anywhere across the light path to produce awesome – and quite unique - visual effects. Utilising technologies developed
for the ROBIN MMX Spot, the MMX WashBeam offers multiple features in one fi xture. The Philips Platinum 35 lightsource
combined with the MMX optical system provides an output brighter than most ‘traditional’ 1200 W products while
the internal automated ‘Barn Door’ assembly offers accurate and precise shuttering.
The latest DL range products - including the DLS Profi le - uses the high power RGBW LED module and adds
a smooth, fast framing shutter system in the optical path of the already proven DLX Spot format. It produces a dynamic
colour range plus pure whites at pre-selected 2.700, 3.200, 4.200, 5.600 and 8.000 Kelvin colour temperatures. Authentic
Tungsten emulation allows the fi xture to be seamlessly integrated into lighting schemes also using traditional fi xtures.
Robe’s ROBIN DLX Spot and DLF Wash are great examples of eco-friendly products. Based on a world first high-
-power RGBW LED module, they offer the customer a powerful colour output plus 20,000 hours or 3 years warranty on
the lightsource. All with an incredibly low power consumption.
The brand new ROBIN Pointe uses the Osram Sirius HRI 280W lightsource and has quickly become Robe’s fastest
ever selling product to date. This small, super-bright and very fast multi-purpose moving light unit has a sharp, intense
parallel beam and a host of features making it a hugely versatile lightsource.
The ROBIN MiniMe is a small, neat, fast moving and LED driven fixture… with the addition of full video output.
Colours, Gobos and beam shapes are all digitally generated by the on-board micro media server. Custom artwork,
still photographs and video can also be simply uploaded for projection, whilst live video can be streamed through
the HDMI input.
The LEDBeam 1000 is a brand new strong and powerful new fixture launched in 2014. It utilizes the latest LED
technology and can be used as a beam or a wash light. With flexibility to the fore, it features a unique proprietary
optical system enabling a zoom of 4 – 60 degrees with full beam control … giving an extremely tight and intense beam
for long throws or a nice smooth even wash.
The first
LED PAR of its kind, Robe’s PARFect 100 is based on the hugely popular LEDBeam 100 technology, with
the same optical system and light engine in a static housing. The PARFect 100 uses 12 x 15W RGBW LEDs and has
a 7 degree beam angle with the option of additional diffusers to achieve 10, 20 and 45 degrees.
